Stephen; Owner J. McLauchlan; Voyagae Aberdeen - Baltic 1863: No trace in Lloyds's (Source Lloyd's Regiser of Shipping) Aberdeen Journal, 11/02/1863: Brig JOHN GEORGE, of Aberdeen, owned by Mr. McLachlan, sank in Bristol Channel after collision with a barque. Crew were saved. She was bound Cardiff - London with cargo of iron and is believed to be insured. |
